🍂 This Halloween at Cedar Creek Lake

Halloween week is here — and Cedar Creek Lake is buzzing with family fun, new openings, and plenty of places to show off those costumes. Here’s how to make the most of every stop, start to finish.

🍕 Pizza 31 Grand Opening | Friday Oct 31 | Trinidad TX

Kick off Halloween evening with something warm from the oven. Pizza 31 celebrates its grand opening with hot slices, wings, and candy for kids in costume — a perfect dinner stop before trunk-or-treating.

Grand Opening: Halloween Day! Trinidad, Tx.

🚗 Next Stop: Trunk-or-Treat & Community Events

After pizza, hit the local candy circuit.

Tool oween.

The Eight at Tool Park with costume contests (with prizes), a hay ride, and a hay maze, plus candy, vendors, and games for all ages.

👜 Insider Tip: Bring an extra bag — lake-area trunk-or-treats are legendary for generous candy and creative displays.

🙏 Faith & Fellowship Around the Lake

Fall at the lake isn’t only about costumes and candy — it’s also a time to gather in gratitude. Local churches and ministries are hosting harvest festivals, Hallelujah nights, and family gatherings that shine a light on faith, friendship, and community.

🌽 Fall Favorites Still Going Strong

Yesterland Farm’s Spooktacular Nights and Fall Festival are a tradition for a reason — pumpkin patches, carnival rides, and just enough spook to make it fun for all ages.

  • Spooktacular Nights – Oct 18–31

  • Fall Festival – Weekends through Oct 31

Grab a caramel apple, wander the corn maze, and don’t miss the fireworks show lighting up the night sky.

🏈 Game Day Hangouts

If you’d rather trade pumpkins for pigskin, head to Elements by 456 or Fig’s Backyard for great food, and plenty of space to catch the game.

📌 Insider Tip: Both are dog-friendly.

  • Elements by 456 – Oasis Patio Bar, every game all week (Thursday Night, Saturday College, Sunday Pro).

  • Fig’s Backyard – plenty of space inside & out, easy group hangout.

📌Insider Tip: Both Elements and Fig’s Backyard are dog-friendly.

🐾 Milo’s Pick: November Yappy-Hour

Leash up your pup and join the crew for Monday Yappy Hours at The Eight in Tool!

📅 When: Every Monday in November
📍 Where: The Eight at Tool Park (walk starts at the food trucks)
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM

The evenings are cooling down, and there’s no better way to start the week than with a relaxed walk and some dog park time. We’ll stroll the loop together, passing the butterfly garden and fishing pond, then head to the dog park so the pups can run, play, and catch up with their buddies — because dogs deserve a social life too. 🐕

🪑 Bring a chair if you plan to hang out at the dog park for a while — benches are limited, and we usually visit for about an hour while the dogs burn off that Monday energy.

🐾 All friendly dogs (and their humans) welcome!
